Description

Split dist branch handling into three steps: detect whether the remote dist branch exists (outputs exists=true/false), conditionally checkout the existing dist branch into the dist path using actions/checkout, or create and initialize a new dist branch when it doesn't exist. Removes the previous git worktree/orphan flow and ensures persist-credentials is disabled for the checkout to avoid using GITHUB_TOKEN for pushes.
